Saily suits nomads who move every few weeks: one eSIM stays installed, you add data per country or region, and the Global plan covers 121 countries. Heavy users can look at Saily Ultra: 30 GB of high-speed data each month, then unlimited at up to 1 Mbps.
The catch: Unlimited plans slow to about 1 Mbps once you use each day’s high-speed allowance.
Remote work on the road runs on mobile data: video calls from a café, a hotspot when the coworking Wi-Fi drops, maps in a new city. Saily lets you handle all of that from one app.
How Saily fits a nomad routine
- One eSIM, many trips. Keep the eSIM installed and add a plan for your next country from the app.
- Auto top-up. Saily can start a new plan when you run out, once or every time.
- Buy ahead. Plans can be bought up to 180 days before you activate them, and they start when you arrive.
- Track usage. The app shows your remaining data.
Country plan, Global plan or Ultra?
If you stay a month or more in one place, a country plan is usually cheaper. For fast-moving trips, the Global plan saves you buying a new plan at every border.
| Plan | Data | Valid for | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thailand | 20 GB | 30 days | $19.99 |
| Portugal | 20 GB | 30 days | $27.99 |
| Mexico | 20 GB | 30 days | $37.99 |
| Global (121 countries) Best value | 20 GB | 365 days | $66.99 |
Saily Ultra is a subscription for frequent travellers. It gives 30 GB of high-speed data each month, then unlimited data at up to 1 Mbps. It also includes NordVPN, NordPass, NordLocker and Incogni, one airport lounge pass and one fast-track pass a month, priority support and 8% cashback in Saily credits. Check the current price on Saily’s Ultra page.
Unlimited plans: know the speed rule
Saily’s unlimited plans run from 5 to 30 days. Each day you get a high-speed allowance. After it’s used, speed drops to about 1 Mbps until midnight in your eSIM’s local time. That’s fine for messages and maps, not for large uploads. To get full speed back sooner, buy a regular plan for the same destination.
Hotspot for your laptop
You can share Saily data with a laptop through your phone’s hotspot. Data shared that way comes out of your eSIM balance, and Saily’s fair use policy applies.
Privacy tools for public Wi-Fi days
The Saily app has an ad blocker, web protection against malware and phishing sites, and virtual locations that route your traffic through a server in another country. Our guide to eSIMs with privacy features explains each one.
Paying and support
Saily takes cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and support runs 24/7 by live chat in the app or by email. There is no phone support. If you need a number for sign-ups, the optional US phone number works with many verification codes, but some banks reject it as a VoIP number.
