Saily’s Italy eSIM starts at $3.99 for 1 GB and $12.99 for 5 GB. If Italy is one stop on a longer Europe trip, the Europe plan from $4.99 covers 35 countries.
The catch: plans are data only, so you get no local phone number for calls or texts.
From Rome’s metro to Venice’s water buses and the Amalfi Coast, a lot of Italy trips depend on live maps and train times. A travel eSIM is active when you land, without roaming charges.
