Amsterdam runs on Saily’s Netherlands plans, from $3.99 for 1 GB. For a few days in the city, 3 GB ($7.99) covers maps, transit and messaging.
The catch: plans are data only, so you get no local phone number for calls or texts.
Amsterdam runs on trams, bikes and canal-side walks, and you’ll use maps constantly. A Netherlands eSIM is ready at Schiphol and keeps working on day trips to Haarlem, Utrecht or Rotterdam.
