Saily’s Vietnam eSIM starts at $3.99 for 1 GB. For a north-to-south trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, 5 GB ($10.99) covers maps, Grab rides and messaging.
The catch: plans are data only, so you get no local phone number for calls or texts.
Vietnam trips usually run the length of the country: Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, then Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll use data for Grab, maps and translation the whole way, and an eSIM set up at home is ready on arrival.
