Berlin runs on Saily’s Germany plans, from $4.49 for 1 GB. For a 3–5 day trip, 3 GB ($8.99) covers U-Bahn routes, maps and messaging.
The catch: plans are data only, so you get no local phone number for calls or texts.
Berlin is spread out, and you’ll use data for U-Bahn and S-Bahn connections, maps between Mitte, Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg, and museum bookings. A Germany eSIM is ready at BER the moment you land.
